இந்த ஒற்றைக் கல் ரதமானது பக்கிங்காம் கால்வாய்க்கு கிழக்குப் பக்கத்தில், பிடாரி அம்மன் கோயில் அருகே அமைந்துள்ளது, இதனால் அதன் பெயரிடப்பட்டது என்று புலனாகிறது. இங்கே இரண்டு ரதங்கள் அருகருகே கம்பீரமாக குடைவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. எந்தவித சிற்பங்களின்றி குடையப்பட்டுள்ளதால் எந்த தெய்வத்திற்காக எழுப்பப்பட்டது என்று அறிய முடியவில்லை.
இந்த இரண்டு ரதங்களும் விமானத்தின் மேல்பகுதி – பிரஸ்தரம் வரை செதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதன் கீழ் பகுதியான சுவர் மட்டும் அதிட்டான பகுதி ஆரம்ப நிலையிலே உள்ளது. இரண்டு ரதங்களும் இரண்டு அடுக்கு விமானமாக குடையப்பட்டுள்ளது, அதில் ஒன்று கிழக்கு நோக்கியும் மற்றொன்று வடக்கு நோக்கியும் உள்ளது.
இரண்டு ரதங்களும் வெவ்வேறு வடிவில் செதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன, அதில் தெற்கில் அமைந்த குடைவரை எண்கோண திராவிட சிகரத்தையும், வடக்கில் அமைந்த குடைவரை சதுரமான நாகரி சிகரத்தையும் கொண்டுள்ளது. வடக்கில் உள்ள ரதத்தில் மகர தோரணம் கவனிக்கப்படவேண்டியது. கருவறை அதன் முன் ஒரு மண்டபம் குடைய திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. தெற்கு குடைவரையைவிட இது சற்று முடிந்த நிலையில் உள்ளது.
தெற்கில் அமைக்கப்பட்ட குடைவரையில் துவாரபாலர்கள் மார்பு வரை குடையப்பட்டு பாதியில் நிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதுபோக வலபியில் அன்றில் பறவை பிரதி வரியாக அழகுற உள்ளது. கருவறை முகப்பில் இருபுறம் படிபோன்ற அமைப்பும், கருவறை ஒட்டி இன்னொரு மண்டபமும் குடையப்பட்டுள்ளது.
எந்தவித கல்வெட்டுகள் இன்றி இந்த கட்டுமானம் குடையப்பட்டுள்ளதால், இது யாரால் செய்விக்கப்பட்டது என்று சரிவர கணிக்க முடியவில்லை. எனினும் இது பரமேஸ்வரவர்மனின் ஆட்சியின் பொழுது குடையப்பட்டிருக்கலாம் என்பது வல்லுனர்களின் கருத்து.

The single-stone Rathas are located on the eastern side of the Buckingham Canal, near Pidari Amman temple, hence its name, Pidari Rathas. Here, two Rathas are majestically enshrined side by side with no sculptures. Therefore, scholars needed help identifying for which deity it was carved.
These Rathas are carved up to the upper part of the Vimana (Prastra). To carve the wall and the Aditaana is in starting state. The Rathas are arranged in a dvi-tala / two-tiered, one facing the east and the other facing the north. The shikhara has nasikas on each face, which is an added beauty.
The Rathas are carved in different shapes, with the southern ratha having an Octagonal Dravidian pattern and the northern ratha having a Square-shaped Nagari pattern. The niches on the side walls are decorated with Makara-Torana with double bends, very similar to the decoration of the Draupadi Ratha. The sanctum sanctorum is planned with a hall in front of it. This Ratha is slightly more complete than the Southern Ratha.
In the South Ratha, the Dvarapalas are draped up to their chests and stopped halfway. Similarly, in Valabi, the Andril bird is seen as prati-vari. There is a stair-like structure on both sides of the sanctum sanctorum and another hall next to the sanctum sanctorum.
Since this site doesn’t have inscriptions, it is impossible to predict whose dynasty this site belongs to. However, experts believe it may have been built during the reign of Parameswaravarman.
