கங்கணேசுவரர் கோவில், காஞ்சிபுரம்
காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் எத்தனையோ கோவில்கள் இருந்தாலும், இன்னும் பல கோவில்கள் மக்களுக்கு தென்படாமல் இருப்பது ஆச்சர்யம் தான். அப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு கோவில்தான் இந்த கங்கணேசம் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகின்ற கங்கணேசுவரர் கோவில். காஞ்சி புராணத்தில் இக்கோவிலை பற்றி கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இங்கே இறைவனை உமை அம்மை வழிபட்டதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. அதுபோக இங்கே நின்ற நிலையில் காணப்படும் விநாயகரின் சிலையை பார்க்க இரு கண்கள் போறாது.
Although there are many temples in Kanchipuram, it is unexpected that many more temples are not visible to the public. One such temple is the Kanganeswarar Temple, also known as the Kanganesam Temple. In the Kanchi Purana, The Kanganeswarar temple is mentioned. Here the Lord is said to have worshipped Umai Amma. Koshta idol Ganesha sculpture was found in the temple wall, which is stunning.
